Dear Relay For Life Team Captains & Supporters,
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a team event to raise funding for Cancer research of all kinds both in West Bend and nation wide. This event is held annually; this year the event will take place on August 3rd and 4th at Badger Middle School.
We are very proud of the monies we have raised as a county just from the teams themselves. We have a Silent Auction each year, which is graciously filled with auction items by our community, large corporations, small corporations, NBA, NFL, NASCAR, and many individuals with the knack of crafting. Our Silent Auction would not be what it is without your generosity!
This year we would like to ask that each Relay For Life team donate 1 item to the silent auction. Of course if you have 2 really awesome items, we will not turn them away. Our goal is to have a smaller Silent Auction with more really GREAT items. So talk to your team members, crafter friends, or bosses, and let's see what awesome items we can get donated for this year’s Relay For Life. Please call if you'd prefer and we will pick up your donated item. If you are not able to donate this year, thank you, and consider our Relay For Life next year.
If you are able to make a donation this year, THANK YOU! Please include with the donation a written “suggested” value for our records, and a letter of authenticity (if applicable). Please also include the ”Silent Auction Donations 2007” form with the donated item. PLEASE TURN IN YOUR DONATED ITEM(S) NO LATER THAN MID JULY SO THAT THEY CAN BE CATEGORIZED AND LOGGED.
We are all dedicated to doing our part in this huge fight against cancer and we hope that you can assist us, and make a donation to the West Bend Relay For Life. Cancer research continues to save lives with money raised. Too many lives have not been saved: cure’s in the making.
